WebbI have a 250GB Simpletech external storage device. It says pininfarina on the side with BOM no. 96300-41001-011. My laptop does not recognize it when I plug in the usb cable. I do not have a disc or manual. What can I do? WebbOpen Disc Utility (Applications > Utilities > Disc Utility) and select the SimpleTech drive. Choose either FAT32 or Mac OS Extended from the pull-down menu, and click the "Erase" button. Disc Utility will erase and reformat the drive in the selected format.
