Their beginning dates to the Fall of 1966, when they adopted the Scottish theme to complement the town's namesake, Dundee, Scotland. WebTheir mascot is a charger. The D-C marching band’s name combined the names of the former (and namesake) schools. They were the Imperial Scots; open to all district students. They used Dundee’s leftover uniforms. Later and currently, they are known as the Dundee Crown Marching Chargers.
